National Aquarium Artist Research Residency, 2019-

A pilot program, proposed and tested, in which an artist is granted 3 months of open study at National Aquarium facilities. To consider an aquarium as an institute for artistic research that will inspire enviro-conscious themes and modes of production and filter culture makers through the Aquarium’s mission and operations back into the Baltimore community, A hub of aquatic conservation engages with artists for an open exchange of ideas and perspectives.
